Mission Statement: Serves adult offenders who have been referred due to their commission of an unlawful act, imposed sanction, or inability to pay supervision fees, court costs, fines and /or attorney fees. The mission is to place these offenders at an appropriate volunteer work site, insure they complete productive work as ordered in an approved manner. Primary Goal: To have a coordinated office which provides: 1) an alternative to incarceration; 2) repayment to the community for inappropriate or unlawful behavior; 3) provide a positive support system for the offender; 4) provide the offender with a sense of self-worth; and 5) provide the potential for future job placement for the offender. Referrals: Offenders are referred from the South Central Judicial District, North Dakota Parole and Probation, United States Probation, Bismarck and Mandan Municipal Courts, and Centre Inc Misdemeanor Probation and Residential Facility . Program Fees: Adults are charged at a rate of $35.00 per month until their community service hours are completed. Adults working off felony or misdemeanor supervision fees are charged an annual fee of $25.00. A $25 transfer fee will be charged to an offender if a transfer is requested.
